Is OnlyFans chatting legit? An honest answer

Yes, OnlyFans chatting is a real, legal remote job. But the industry also attracts scams and bad employers. Here is what the job really is and how to check any agency, including us.

What the job really is

Many successful creators get far more messages than they can answer themselves. Like a celebrity with a social media team, they work with agencies whose chatters reply to fans in the creator’s voice and following her guidelines.

As a chatter you write messages. You do not create content, you never appear on camera and you never share your own photos.

Warning signs of a fake or bad agency

  • They ask you to pay for training, “account access” or equipment
  • They pay in crypto only or refuse to put anything in writing
  • No company name, no address, no registration number
  • Pay only described as “up to $5,000” with no explanation of how it is calculated
  • Pressure to start immediately without a contract

How to check us

  • Company: ML OG, registered in the Austrian commercial register under FN 562968 w (Handelsgericht Korneuburg). Full details in our imprint.
  • Our pay plans are published openly on this site.
  • You get a written contract before you start.
  • We never ask you for money.

About the criticism of the industry

In 2026 the BBC and others reported on chatters with very low pay and long shifts. That criticism is fair for parts of the industry. Our answer: published pay plans, a minimum but no forced maximum of hours, a team lead you can escalate difficult conversations to, and clear rules that protect fans and chatters.

Do fans know they are chatting with a team?

You write on behalf of the creator, in her voice and within her guidelines, similar to a ghostwriter or social media manager. What we never allow is active deception that harms fans: no promises of meeting, no fake emergencies, no payments outside the platform and no pressure on vulnerable people.
